2 Day Post Operative Lymphatic Drainage Course -- $700
Hands On Time
This course is very hands on. We believe that touch is key when learning a new modality. Each day consists of both didactic and hands on instruction.
- Learn proper pressure
- Locate lymph nodes
- Understand the flow of lymph
- Trade with a partner so you can feel what your patient will experience
Post Operative Clients
Typically we like to have 1-2 post operative clients attend our second day of instruction so class members will have the opportunity to experience the consultation, bolstering and needs of a post op client.
- Learn proper questions to ask prior to beginning work
- Decide what areas you will focus your time on
- Be comfortable with bandage removal and open wounds
- Understand how to work around stitches, bandages and drains during a lymphatic drainage session with a post operative client.

Beyond Lymphatic Drainage
When you client nears the 6 week mark post op you can begin incorporating scar work. During this course we will talk about when it’s appropriate to begin working on the scars, how to work that area, and the sequence in which it should be performed in conjunction with continued Lymphatic Drainage sessions.
